In today’s lending era, it is important to select a skilled, honest loan officer when purchasing a home.  Johnathan Barber is Norcom Mortgage's Senior Mortgage Officer and Sales Manager, and Mr. Barber takes great pride in improving the lives of Ohio families.  

For seven years, he served as one of Equity Resource's leading Cincinnati loan specialists.  Recognized twice by Mortgage Originator Magazine, Mr. Barber has helped thousands of families with mortgage/credit counseling, purchasing, investing, and/or refinancing.   

Mr. Barber has over 19 years of experience with VA, FHA, USDA, and CONVENTIONAL FINANCING;  he is also an ADDI GRANT, NSP GRANT, and OHIO BOND LOAN specialist.  

Five Star Professional partnered with Cincinnati Magazine to determine the mortgage and insurance professionals who provided exceptional service and overall satisfaction in the  Cincinnati area.  Over 57,000 Cincinnati homeowners and 12,500 subscribers of the magazine were surveyed, and an additional 250 surveys were sent to mortgage and title companies.  The final list of  Cincinnati Five Star Mortgage Professionals is a select group, representing less than 2% of the mortgage professionals in the area.  Johnathan Barber was awarded with the special status as one of the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 Cincinnati Five Star Mortgage Professionals.      

While a loan consultant at Union National Mortgage, Mr. Barber earned multiple awards for customer service and production throughout 2008 - 2012.  At Trustcorp Mortgage, Mr. Barber was given the Trustcorp  Divisional Employee of the Year Award in 2004.  He eventually became the Ohio sales leader throughout 2005-2007 and later became the national sales leader before the company’s closure.  Mr. Barber received a Producer Award from the Cincinnati Mortgage Banker’s Association in 2007 after he was recognized by Fannie Mae as the Regional My Community Mortgage (First Time Buyer) Leader in 2006.   

While other loan officers have elected to exit the industry, Mr. Barber’s integrity and dedication to service continue to make him one of Ohio’s most reputable lenders.          _________________________________________________
